Hi Everyone,
All our teachers are busy getting settle back to work in school. Over the last few days our Special Education Teachers (SET) have been busy contacting parents to update our records in relation to children who have health conditions that might require EMERGENCY medication in school.
This includes children with:
Epilepsy
Asthma
Diabetes
Anaphalaxis (Severe Allergic Reactions)
If your child has any of these conditions please make sure their teacher knows. They will be in touch to make a Health Plan for your child. This is important so that:
Teachers know symptoms to be aware of for your child
How to react in an emergency situation
To make sure we have emergency medication in school at all times (inhalers, epi-pens, anti-seizure medication) to administer in the case of an emergency.
If you have any questions please contact your child’s class teacher.
